Goal of the feature
Create a V1 for easy documentation of patch panels inside of a rack.
Use-cases for V1
Allow users to document patch panels by choosing groups, total ports, and number of rows.
Allow users to highlight certain ports for easy visualization
Allow users to link ports to assets (which could be populated via RMM, user-input, etc.)
Allow users to use a custom type if our built-in tool doesn't work for a device in a rack. Great for cable managers, etc.
