If you or your techs use Chrome, make sure they update immediately. Google released an emergency update fixing two security bugs (CVE-2025-8010 & CVE-2025-8011) in the V8 engine. Just visiting a malicious site could be enough for attackers to gain control.
Who’s at risk?
Anyone running Chrome versions older than 138.0.7204.168/.169 on Windows or macOS, or 138.0.7204.168 on Linux.
How to update:
Desktop: Chrome → Menu (⋮) → Help → About Google Chrome
Install the update to 138.0.7204.168 or newer, then restart.
Mobile: Update via App Store or Google Play.
Verify your version:
Open About Google Chrome and confirm it says 138.0.7204.168 (or .169) or later.
Stay safe and knock this out immediately.
